章 67: Faction Base

My world swirled.

"Khack!" I coughed, feeling something weird in my throat as I gagged.

"Gag… Khllack!" I spat something.

Cling, clang. 

Something of solid structure fell to the ground.

"Is this… a key?" Izzy asked disgustingly as she stared at the metallic piece that had come out of my throat and mouth, showered in my saliva.

I picked up the metallic key from the ground, wiping it clean on my pants before holding it up to get a better look. I did hear Izzy reacting disgustingly to my actions but decided to ignore it.

It was sleek and well-crafted, not something you'd expect to find lodged in your throat.

"What the hell was that?" I muttered, more to myself than anyone else. I glanced at the key in my hand and then over to the system interface, quickly finding the newly added item.
