章 87: Kane Warns Olin

Olin was sitting and stuffing his face with fresh antelope flesh. Even though his lunch had been brought on a tray, he wasn't even paying attention to it. He was concerned about the signal he had received, which informed him that something he had done for the Vampire queen and her evil son had gone wrong. He stuffed his mouth more and more as the meal gave him comfort, furrowing his overly thick forehead.

Olin cried out, "Wine!" He was about to grab another piece of meat when he sensed someone in his hut.

Prince Kane was there.

Olin laughed uncomfortably, swallowing the food that was already in his mouth as he did so.

"Vampire Prince, come in," said Olin. "However, let your man stay outside. There are issues we must discuss.

"What are those?" In a low, frightening tone, Kane questioned. "You'll hear me first, and my man isn't leaving," Kane shot back. "Heller, stay behind me and pay attention; keep in mind what I said."
