( Three days later)
Three days had passed, and it was hell. Staying in this forest was the decision I made, but I only now realize how difficult it would be to stay here for a couple of years.
First of all, I was bored.
I was so bored I felt like I was going to die, I was already accustomed to television and the internet, and now with them being taken from me the only thing I have left to entertain me was my ability to use fire.
And even that after the first two days got old really quickly.
In the past three days, I hadn't done much, I got more accustomed to using the Mera-Mera's power and finally ate until I was full.
It would get rid of the effects of the weak body immediately, but as long as I continued eating, I would be back to normal and have enough strength to train.
The most important thing I figured out in the past three days, though, was that the Mera-Mera's power wasn't hard to control. It was very draining, though.
Currently creating a ball of fire a foot in diameter was the most I could do without almost passing out.
Like in one piece, the fruit power relied on one's stamina, and right now, I didn't have the stamina to use the fruit to even one percent of its true potential.
Once this body of mine was in good condition and I started working out, I would be able to do much more, anything I could imagine as long as my stamina could hold out.
Today's training was done, and I got up from the ground and headed back to my new home for the foreseeable future.
As I entered the cave, it was still a mess from my battle with the bear, but it would have to do, it wasn't like I had any better choices.
As I continued walking deeper, there was what was left of the bear, which was its skeleton, as I had eaten all the meat that was left in the past three days for every meal.
And now it was done tomorrow. I would have to go and look for food to eat.
Finally, I reached the end of the cave, and in one corner was my only possession, currently the dead dragon egg.
I wasn't really sure what I was going to do with it, but it was worth some money, so I would most likely sell it after deciding to leave here in a few years.
Even with the connection I felt with it.
It wasn't all that late as I sat on the floor and relaxed, this body was too weak for me to start my training and there really wasn't anything else to do but relax until I was ready to sleep.
As I sat in the cave, I couldn't help wondering what I would be doing if I was still on earth now, the truth was it wasn't all that hard to answer the only thing I did was eat, sleep, play games, and go to that dead-end job.
'Sigh'
I know there really wasn't any use thinking about that life now, but I couldn't help it, and I found that to be a problem.
" I need to adjust my mentality to this world as quickly as possible. If I don't, it will only lead to my death."
I sat and opened my right hand and slowly a ball of fire formed hovering above my hands this was my weapon to hunt starting from tomorrow, I'll need to be careful after all I haven't found a water source so I'll need to drink the animal blood to survive.
As I looked at the ball of fire hovering above my hand, I couldn't help but wonder how far I would be able to develop this ability.
Will I be able to do Yan Emperor, and will I develop even further than that?
WHOOSH!!!
BOOM!!!
I the ball of fire to the corner as it exploded causing the fire to spread, and as it did, it managed to reach the egg.
Shockingly, the fire was completely absorbed by the egg as I could swear I saw it shake a little, and the connection I felt from it grew stronger.
It absorbed my fire.
Interested in what would happen, I rose from my seat and placed my hand on the egg as flames appeared on the entire arm.
And this time, I could see and feel it. My flames were being absorbed quickly and without any sign of stopping.
Left with no choice, I simply continued, and soon...
CRACK!!!!!
A crack appeared on the egg as I stopped my flames and focused my eyes on the egg.
And it wasn't long till a claw smashed the egg and appeared.
Looking at this turn of events, I could only think.
'Guess you aren't a dead egg after all.'
