Ellie was pleasantly surprised when she heard what nicholas said.

"Are you serious?" She asked, and he bobbed his head up and down severally.

"Yes. I can feel my legs now. Put me on the ground so I can show you." Nicholas responded with eagerness, and Ellie was no less excited.

Although doctor Ken had told her that he would be better in a week or less, she didn't expect to see any significant improvement after two days.

So she carefully lowered him to the floor so that he was standing on his feet. But she didn't let go immediately, still scared that he would fall down as he used to before.

After a short while, she released her hold on his body, still keeping her hands close should she need to catch him.

But he didn't fall. His lips stretched as he looked at her with a sense of pride. "See? I didn't fall." He announced in a bubbly voice.
