章 71: Fever

When his eyes cracked open and he regained consciousness, Seth was heavily surprised he was lying face flat on the ground. 

His brows pulled together in confusion as he quickly pushed himself off the floor, and looked around, whilst still trying to remember what just happened to him. How did he fall? 

When he couldn't remember anything, he shook his head and blinked several times to clear his vision. Recalling he was asked to watch someone, he first listened to be sure she was in there, and breathed out in relief when his ears caught on to the sound of her steady heartbeat. 

But the sound of soft footsteps approaching from the direction of the stairs made him shift his attention toward that place.

Realizing it was Storm, he instantly covered up the confusion, relief coming to settle on his face. 

"Welcome back." He lowered his head in greeting as Storm approached him. Before Storm could respond, another voice echoed from behind him.

"Master."
