Clint waved his hands, saying seriously "Are you kidding? This is a simple solution! Jin Chen is just a normal Alchemist…" then he paused, frowning, "This dumb kid, did he bring back some wolf into the City Lord Mansion?"
Sarah tilted her head, sighing "City Lord Politics… So complicated." Clint turned to Long Zi, shaking his head, "Actually, this is my problem. Sorry for my brother's behavior. However, he's still my brother. I will handle it." Long Zi raised his brows and Clint grinned, "I don't want him dead or crippled…"
Clint basically confirmed that Long Zi was the Main Character here. This guy must be some sort of reincarnated person. He was just too calm. If he was normal, then his eyes would've lit up when he looked at Sarah. She was 100% devastatingly beautiful.
Clint didn't believe that anyone would look at her like this, completely calm and indifferent. He wasn't the City Lord's son for nothing, he had learned from Jin Reng. How to judge people, watch their expressions and movements, see how they react to information…
He was clearly not a normal person. Neither was Long Zi.
Clint frowned deeply, this dumb asshole Jin Chen… He's going to drag the entire family down with him! If he dies, Jin Reng won't let it go. The odds of killing Long Zi were close to 0! This was a one way ticket to hell!
Clint wasn't going to let him push the family into the abyss. Are you kidding? Latch onto Long Zi quickly! As everyone knows, sending Charcoal in the snow was better than giving flowers or something!
Clint was going to take this opportunity to lock the Long Family to the City Lord Mansion. At any cost necessary. The other clans… didn't need 'em! What sort of person was the Main Character? Everyone was clear about it.
Give them an inch, they return a mile!
Clint knew that he wasn't going to stay here forever. There were so many realms, so many levels, he was bound to be a god eventually! Connecting to Long Zi was a very good way to protect his family.
He held his chin and walked away, waving "I'll see you later, Purple Dragon… I wasn't kidding when I said I know a lot of Skills. I've been called a genius at improving Cultivation Methods, if you need something, come to me." Long Zi looked at Clint's back, thinking to himself.
He hadn't even said 5 sentences, but this City Lord's son seemed to have found out the ins and outs of the matter. Long Zi narrowed his eyes, very interesting. Sarah looked at Long Zi and smiled happily, clasping her fist, "Brother Long. I can help you if you need, Hidden Sword Peak sticks together after all."
After that, she smiled gently, nodding at him before walking after Clint, humming to herself.
Long Zi stood there with his hands behind his back, who knows what he was thinking.
Clint sat at his desk, leaning back in the wooden chair, looking at his system screen.
[Jin Wu]
[Qi Training Stage 6]
[Spearmanship: Lvl 2- 25/200]
[Mechanic Skill: Lvl 5- 600/5000]
[Golden Lion Fist: Lvl 4- 30/400]
[Golden Lion Roar: Lvl 1- 5/100]
He rubbed his chin, the Mechanic Skill was an amalgamation of Weapon Refining, Talisman Refining, Enchanting, and Array Making.
When all these skills reached level 10, they became the Mechanic Skill.
So the Mechanic Skill was an advanced skill. It also encapsulated all of the mechanic skills he learned in his last life. As he increased in levels, all these concepts improved and meshed together, becoming something better.
Early skills were all 1-10, they increased by 100 every level from 100-1000.
The Advanced skills were 1000-10,000.
Clint wasn't particularly interested in Spears or weapons, really. He didn't really want to learn Spearmanship but his father taught him a bit so here the skill was. The Golden Lion Roar was a sonic technique Clint found was cool. The Golden Lion Fist was more suited to Clint's tastes of hand to hand combat, but he got those other skills for the Mechanic one so he had been practicing those religiously.
However, the more important part was what to do with this new problem…
