章 53: the beginning of the world war
after everyone finished their preparation, they were all ready for the war.
like in the story, everyone started to discard their selfishness to fight together as the entire shinobi.
however, when everyone was ready on the ground, the speech still had not started.
all the Kage only stood on the podium, surprisingly, Garaa who had been kidnapped was rescued and luckily Shukaku was not absorbed fully and he could still be saved without sacrificing the old woman.
they are now waiting for Kaoru since all of them agreed that Kaoru would be the one who makes a speech, they made that decision because they got fed up with Kaoru's actions after the meeting.
An example was Raikage who got launched into the sky whenever he got out of his house to the point that he got acrophobia and the only person who could make that kind of seal without anyone aware of it was Kaoru, who mysteriously could use the famous Hiraishin no jutsu.
Oonoki and some higher up from Iwa on the other hand have to receive a shock every time he walk at night, he even starts to doubt whether his heart is strong enough with all kind of ghost and apparitions that Kaoru made.
he also doesn't forget to confiscate all of Tsunade's alcohol, while telling her that it's bad for the body and that with the war coming that kind of drink will be taken from her.
that's why they work together to take a small revenge on Kaoru, and Tsunade also threatens him that she will not provide more funds for his strange research and instead sends him as a diplomat to talk with the nobles.
after waiting for a few minutes, a person suddenly appeared on the podium with a bang.
he wore something that could be called a military uniform, a handsome face with shoulder-length black hair, the person who teleported on the podium was no other than Kaoru himself, however, there was something strange on his face, the Kaoru on the podium had a toothbrush mustache on his mouth.
if not for his handsome face, and the usage of Hiraishin, the five Kage will attack this person immediately.
"Kaoru, I don't know what you're doing but, for this moment I beg you to not make trouble, okay?" looking at Kaoru's ridiculous attire, Tsunade already had a headache and before he made more problems, she begged him and only got a nod as an answer.
Kaoru walked up and looked at all the Shinobis that gathered at this place, he thought that as long they had the same motive, they could work together properly.
"SHUT, UP!!!" with a shout from Kaoru, everyone stunned at immediately stopped whatever they were doing.
"What a bunch of useless things, do you think you are so great huh? called by your kage for war is so great huh? nay, you're nothing but just a bundle of meat that will scattered on the battlefield, only your name that will come back, letting your family cry for your demise, and what? the next year your parent will work like it was nothing, your wife or husband will get a new partner, and your child will forget about who you are"
"When your friend talks they will think that you're an idiot who died in the war, and for what? nothing! yes! All of you will die for nothing!"
at first, when they heard Kaoru, they felt mocked and wanted to protest who let that guy talk, however, when he talked about their possible future self, some of them started to lose motivation, especially those who got forced to participate in this war.
the five Kage panic since they think this speech moment was to encourage the Shinobi but, Kaoru makes everyone lose their motivation instead.
ignoring the five Kage who make funny faces, Kaoru continued to talk.
"so what do you need so that the future will not happen?"
with that question everyone started to think about what they should do but, they couldn't find any way to let that future not happen.
"FIGHT!!! and SURVIVE!!!, as long as you keep fighting and survive, you can go back home proudly, tell your family and your friends that you're one of those people who kick the famous Uchiha Madara's ass"
"the five people behind me are not just mere figurines, they are your leaders, they will not just sit idle on the backline, they will fight together with all of you, and when your leader leaves their ego and starts to work for a better future, what you punk have done? nothing!! you still fighting with your own comrade for a useless reason, now I want you all to for a moment throw away your grudge, hatred, and resentment and start working together so all of you can go back to your family alive!"
Kaoru didn't just stop at that, he started to shout while raising his hand up high.
"FIGHT!! FIGHT!! FIGHT!!"
and soon, he shouted followed by thousands of similar shouts from the allied shinobi.
then Kaoru steps down from the podium and walks toward the five Kage.
"you know, this time you're a bit too cruel Kaoru!" even though Tsunade thinks it's good that their Ninjas found their courage, she knows it's impossible for the war to end without bloodshed.
the other Kage also agreed with Tsunade, especially Oonoki, since he is the oldest, he was the most experienced person in the cruelty of war.
"what they need was not heartful encouragement, the vow of victory, or wealth, what they need was hope for survival, even if it's impossible for all of them to back to their village alive, as long there are hopes, they will fight to their last breath, that's why I throw them into the hole and then pull them up from the same hole"
"Now they will work together for a small chance of survival!"
Kaoru then slowly left the area but, he suddenly stopped and talked to Tsunade.
"Granny, I forgot to say this, me in front of you right now was just a clone, the real me is in another place, I also don't know what the plan of the real me, is since he created me before thinking of his plan, or maybe creating me was the first plan or maybe since the beginning, everything is already on his plan!"
without waiting for a response the clone disappears into a cloud of smoke and Tsunade has a feeling that after the war she and the other Kages will have heavy headaches and if she doesn't act immediately everything will turn into new chaos.
"Kakashi!, go find Kaoru's whereabouts! try to understand what he is planning now, and also if possible.... just help him!"
the other Kage is stunned by Tsunade action to help Kaoru even if she doesn't know what he is planning.
