章 78: Vengeance?

"Didn't you say he prepared his death? Why should he want us to avenge him?"

"What do you think caused him to die?" Langford answered with another question. "The oath of friendship he made with the Duke is the factor for his death."

"But if grandfather died, then the duke didn't, that means…" Cole issued his remark which was interrupted.

"Grandfather betrayed. That is an assumption. But how did he do it? And Langford, you were there with him. What did you discuss that led him to his death? Presumably, it is from the discussion that he might have committed betrayal to the duke." Bryan interjected with a mouthful of remarks and questions.

"We are not in the right venue to inform you more about Grandfather's plan." The eldest Berry muttered as he eyed his younger brother and relatives. "I will tell you more after the funeral pyre ritual."

Bryan Berry was startled as he saw his brother walk out from them.
