章 117: A mother's teachings

After arriving through the portal with Ava and the two cowering guards, Cyril finally got a chance to lay eyes upon the new recruit of theirs who'd been causing his family so much trouble as of late, and he only needed one word to describe how he felt about his fellow omen...

"Pathetic."

He said this right after Ava had finished introducing herself to Marcus and so his comment was easily heard by everyone in the surrounding area, including the disheveled and maniacal looking omen in front of them.

The way Cyril saw it, this was all no more than a waste of he and Ava's time.

Some might applaud Marcus's effort in fighting off the four, now two guards he'd had to contend against, but not Cyril. He'd watched this scene play out multiple times for numerous berserk omens in the past, and it always ended up with said omen meeting an unfortunate end.
