Kevin did as he was told. He dispatched his mouse. Currently, he can produce five of them. These mice are not living beings. They may seem alive, but they are operating under his instructions.

They knew what they are supposed to look for and scattered in different directions.

While Kevin is doing this, Lawrence openly challenged Jason. He left the table where Kevin is hiding so that Jason will not focus his attention on the defenseless Kevin.

Lawrence ran to the nearest table and crouched down. Then fired two shots. This angered Jason even more.

Jason responded by firing more bullets at Lawrence, and he managed to evade them every time.

Lawrence was drawing near to Jason. After finding out the bullets in his gun will not run out, he took advantage of it. He navigated between tables, using them as his shield as he evaded Jason's deadly raining bullets.
