"Aunt, what kind of person was my mother?" Lisa asked curiously.
"She was a kind, strong, and brave woman who loved her daughter dearly even though she didn't get to see her," her aunt replied.
Lisa was silent for a while that was what she wanted to hear. She felt satisfied with the answer her aunt had given her.
"So what did you want to tell me?" She said after a while.
"At first when you asked me about it a while ago, I wasn't sure if I could tell you the truth yet,"
"Why is that?"
"I made your mother a promise that I wouldn't disclose any information until you are strong enough to protect yourself," her aunt said calmly.
"What do you mean strong enough? Did something happen to my mother?"
"Here, open this first," she stretched her hand towards Lisa giving her the brown envelope.
"Can I?" Lisa said softly.
"Sure, it's yours I've kept it safe for a long time it's time I give it to the rightful owner go on open it,"
