章 13: Chapter 13 Mystery behind Little Sally
"I'm not sure, after filming she just disappeared she didn't even attend the release of the movie itself," the manager sighed heavily.
"Why didn't you look for her?"
"I did,"
"And then?"
"I didn't know how to find her, it was at that time that I realized I had no idea of who she really was outside filming,"
"What do you mean?"
"I never saw her parents or anyone come for her she was always alone, despite her bright and kind nature I figured out that she was broken inside,"
"What happened to her after?"
"There were rumors that she died,"
"Oooh,"

"Lisa,have you heard?" Sandy walked into the room excitedly.
"Heard what?"
"Woah, you've not seen the news? It's all over,"
"What are you yapping about? I'm going to class,"
"Wait, here it comes, guess who is coming back to the country?"
"Who?"
"Idiot, your first love,"
"Hehehe, what first love sssh," Lisa smiled awkwardly.
"You know who Lisa, Larry aaah I've missed him it's been seven years I wonder how he is now? By the way did you get over him? Or are you still in love with him? That bastard broke your heart jeez, hey, are you even listening to me?" Sandy stared at Lisa who was now in deep thoughts.
"Our little Sally," Sandy sighed.
"Earth to Lisa, earth to Lisa what are you thinking about?" She snapped her fingers. Thinking of that, it brought Sandy to years back.
Flashback,
"Are you seriously going to act?"
"Hmmmh," young Lisa smiled shyly.
"I got an offer, it's also the movie that Larry is going to debut with,"
"Are you sure? I thought you wanted to be a doctor?"
"I still do,"
At that time, Lisa and Sandy were around fourteen years while Larry was eighteen. Lisa and Larry were childhood friends so having a crush on him was an understatement. It was at that time that Lisa finally wanted to open her heart.
On the night of the release, Lisa's heart was shattered completely.
"Larry, can we talk?" She spoke with a lot of confidence.
"What is it?"
"I like you," Lisa was an introvert but that night, she knew she had to do it.
"I'm sorry Lisa but you are like my little sister..."
That sentence, shattered her completely it was at that time that Larry debuted while Lisa left the entertainment industry never to be seen again.
"What will you do?" Sandy asked.
"What am I supposed to do?"
"I don't know,"
"It's all in the past Sandy, I moved on," Sandy couldn't help but feel remorseful thinking about how heart broken Lisa was.
"Plus, I was young back then now that I think about it I probably confused gratitude with love,"
"Oooh, gratitude with love," Sandy repeated as she eyed her not believing any word from her.
"Let's go, quite talking about him,"
"Okay, okay since you no longer want him can I have him instead?"
"Whatever, I'm off," as she said that, she walked away leaving Sandy smiling cheekily. Sandy could feel that there was more things to come on one side was Lara who happened to be Lisa's cousin now the other side was Larry. Thinking of that, she sighed heavily before following Lisa.
After the classes had ended, Lisa was shocked to see her classmates gathering around her.
"What is it?" She asked in shock.
"We are sorry Lisa, please forgive us"
"Why are you sorry?"
"We didn't believe you, instead of supporting you we judged you instead," Lisa smiled brightly. It didn't bother her but since they learned their mistake she had nothing to say.
"It's okay, I understand we all have our own way of thinking,"
"We are sorry again,"
"It's okay,"
"Please accept this," one of them stepped forward and then handed her a small box. Lisa opened it and then peeped inside.
"I can't accept this, it's too expensive,"
"Actually, it's not please accept it it's from all of us don't worry we didn't spend much anyway,"
"Are you sure?"
"Of course, why would we lie,"
"Thank you,"
.....
"Any news?" Ethan turned to his assistant Kai.
"Not yet, I'm still investigating,"
"But we have a lead," he replied after some time. Ethan immediately looked up his eyes filled with interest.
"Go on,"
"The young missus' hometown, from what I heard the young missus' mother had a twin sister so..." Before he could finish, Ethan interrupted.
"The one here is her aunt meaning something either happened to the other one, find out if she is still alive,"
"Yes President," as Kai walked out of the room,Ethan felt slightly worried. He hoped that, she was alive for Lisa's sake.

After class, Lisa walked out of the hospital room feeling very tired. But she felt happy that everything had now settled down. Despite her tiredness, she still had time to patrol the hospital checking on her patients.
"That's all for today," the professor said as they walked out of the last ward.
"Thank you professor, good bye," Lisa spoke.
"I'll leave the reports to you," the professor replied.
"Sure, you will have it tomorrow morning,"
"Aaah, I'm so tired and hungry," Sandy yawned.
"What next?" She turned to Lisa.
"I want to go handle the reports,"
"Gosh, are you a robot by any chance?"
"Stop being lazy," Lisa smacked her forehead.
"Let's go," they walked back to the university block.
"Lisa..." A dark voice yelled stopping them. Lisa turned to the person who had called her and was immediately shocked.
"Why are you here?" She replied slightly puzzled.
