I had no idea what you would wear to a space station. And as ditsy and as airheaded as that sounded, it was not meant to come out that way. I didn't want to wear my Merciless gear, not now that Midnight actually knew what I looked like.
I also didn't think that a ball gown was appropriate either. Jeans and a sweater seemed a little weird to wear out with a bunch of aliens, and I didn't even know the temperature of the station itself. Was it warm? Dry? Wet? A combination of everything? Yeah, I think I was much more in my head than I wanted to be right now.
"Jun Li," I called out, ending the silent treatment that I had been giving him since he connected the call with Midnight before I was ready.
