章 29: Impatient

Petal POV

"It's your call. If you want to stay then we will. If not we will leave." Ethan said and I was confused for a moment before I decided.

"We will stay," I said, signalling.

"Good. Your room is already papered. The maids will show the way. If you need anything you can ask Barbara. I will go and check on Amber. See you at dinner." Alex said and went upstairs.

He was worried about Amber. She took sleeping pills and went to sleep. What happened was. Two weeks ago she was attacked by unknown people and now she is attacked by a stranger. If it happened once it could be a coincidence but with everything that is happening, I highly suspect that it's a coincidence.

I asked Ethan to let the maid show us our room. I was tired from today's events and wanted to rest.

Once we entered the room that Alexander prepared for us, I took off my coat and shoes and lay down on the bed. I was so exhausted and I wanted to sleep.
