章 27: Suspecting Amber part one

Petal POV

Two weeks have passed since Amber was attacked. We hadn't visited them since that day in the hospital and forbidden Ethan to go and see them. The girl had seen enough and didn't need him to add more to what she already experienced.

Today Alexander had invited us to his farm for lunch. He took Amber thereafter she was discharged from the hospital to continue her recovery there. Ethan told me that the place is very beautiful.

Though I was excited to go there, I was worried that Ethan would do something and try to scare Amber. I can't deny that he has a good reason for suspecting her, especially after he told me that this was the first time she was attacked and doesn't know who did it.

I hope that she doesn't turn out to be a bad person and hurt Alexander. The man is crazy in love with her. If Ethan's doubt is right and she ends up betraying him, Alex won't take it well.
