The sway of the ship and the refreshing ocean breeze brushed against my face. We were in search of the Mirage Island, and after that momentary glimpse, everyone's spirits lifted.

We had been searching for that island for a long time, and yet, we found nothing. Well, until that moment. Even though it vanished after two seconds, it was enough.

"Boss," the leader of my subordinates said, "There's an island with a small village. They might know something about the Mirage Island."

It was possible, indeed. But being a realistic person, I decided not to get my hopes up too much. If it was meant to be, it would be, and if not, I would find another way.

But, of course, it would be foolish to let such an opportunity slip through my fingers. For this reason, I instructed my subordinate to change course and head to that village.
