章 45: Indirect kiss

As the creature neared the pond once more, Draven shut his eyes as though calling upon magic. Instead, he utilized the connection between Rhea and himself to communicate through telepathy.

"In one strike, shape an ice sword with your ice spikes and aim for its head," he directed. Nevertheless, Rhea, who unexpectedly heard his voice in her mind, was startled and astonished. Her eyes widened in disbelief.

How on earth did he do that?!

"Hurry up!" Draven urged her. Rhea's shock dropped immediately she noticed the bony head of the creature getting closer to the water. In this situation, she had to be careful and not alert the other shadow stalkers who had left already. But then, Draven was expecting her to make a sword with her ice, which she'd never done before. Furthermore, she had to do this while holding her breath underwater!
