Cederic paced outside his new palace as the King as he waited impatiently for new information to be brought. He had expected that at least the Angels would fly down the night before to offer an update but there had been nothing of the sort.

Did that mean that they were successful and they would be marching through the gates of the Royal Palace in no time with Reqiel? He hoped so or he stood to lose the most.

He had been reassured that they were certain they would capture Andras and rescue the prince but it was the end of the second day and there still hadn't been any news. The sun was already setting and he was too jittery to keep sitting on his throne.

So when a guard came running in his direction to inform him that the guards that had been sent out had returned, he heaved a sigh of relief and tried to school his expression to one befitting a King even though he had so many questions.
