"Why not?" Reqiel asked, not backing down. "I would like to get the full experience, I insist on that as a matter of fact."

Cederic was slightly caught off guard by this but he recovered faster, "One would think that with your delicate constitution, you'd know to avoid it."

Aethel halted their argument at this point, "Oh, don't pick on him now brother," She said, not sounding like she entirely meant it.

This upset Cederic nonetheless, the brawny Crown Prince puffing up in anger, his face red.

Although Aethel had scolded her brother, she made no effort to tilt the argument in Reqiel's favor, they were still heading through lavish houses, the roads well paved.

Reqiel just gave up, he knew better than to repeat this journey with Princess Aethel and the Crown Prince. There would be other opportunities to visit the city square, now that he had a bodyguard, Sarell would definitely let him do that all by himself.
