"How come Francesco is not here?" Nico asks as he looks around the room as though the former could appear any moment. "Snow too. This was an important meeting." 

I just had a meeting with my most trustworthy soldiers, preparing them for the inevitable. The others have left and it's just Nico, Esteban and me in the conference room. 

"Francesco took Cat to the safe house." 

Nico still looks like he has a billion questions but now is not the time. I wave Esteban closer so we can discuss the real strategy. 

"Simeon is yet to reveal the venue he wants for the wedding. He is banking on us not knowing where to put our men for security, setting us up for a sneak attack like the slimy motherfucker he is." 

Esteban nods his agreement. "What are you saying we do?" 

"Ace at his own damn game." I look to Nico. "Starting with you doing what you do best."
