Levi has a point. I hate to admit it but I guess part of my brain has known it all this time. Simeon didn't stop at my mother. He wants to go after the rest of the people I care about, including my siblings—especially Elena.
After dinner, I return to the De Santi mansion. I can't sleep no matter how hard I try, so I may as well get some things done. I'm not a huge part of the De Santi syndicate—not as much as Nico, Esteban, and Francesco—but Will has been letting me help him whenever I can.
He's a night owl but I don't want to disturb him, so I decide to work in my room…right after a much-needed cup of coffee.
The kitchen is filled with the enticing aroma of fresh coffee and I'm waiting for it to start dripping into my cup when a pair of arms wraps around me.
I was so lost in thought that I didn't hear Will come in, but I lean back into his embrace, deeply inhaling his scent. "You're still awake."
