章 76: 76. Short term memory loss

"Da… darkness… darkness… There's darkness everywhere. It will consume me. It will erase my existence. I don't want it. I don't. Save me. Save me, please." She sobbed on his shoulder while clutching him tightly, close to her. 

He slowly and hesitantly wrapped his hands around her. He was clenching his teeth every now and then. He was really stiff to the point that his face turned red. 

"There is no darkness. Look, look around. It's all gone. It's all gone. Relax." He said soothing yet in a stiff tone. 

He whispered calming and relaxing words in her words which slowly started to work. She started to calm down. Her sobs subsided and breathing became normal. But yet she stayed in the hug as it was really comfortable. As if she was born to be there only. The hug was soothing, protective and relaxing. She let out a sigh while her eyes were closed. 

"Arabella?" He asked in an unsure tone after he was sure that she calmed down completely.
