Edna nodded. "Thank you, Isabelle. Thanks too, Luca."
"No need to mention it. Rest well."
Luca adjusted Edna's blanket, and Isabelle brought back the girl's uneaten porridge. The two of them stood in front of the door and let out a long sigh simultaneously.
Per Maximillian's wishes, they postponed their departure for a few days until Edna fully recovered.
With Luca and Isabelle taking turns caring for her, Edna was able to recover in three days. During those three days, Edna considered her decision again.
Luca and Isabelle also try to change Edna's decision. They wanted the girl to come with them.

Edna listened intently.
