What am I?
That's the bad thing about this guy called Cedric.
He would always look into my eyes and claim I'm something other than human. What exactly am I if not human.
He inhaled and sniffed at my hair.
"You are an unknown creature trapped in a human body, Lana, who are you?"
He wasn't done chasing clouts with his words, and I was not finished with giving him silence for the foolish things that he had said.
Imagine saying that I was some bizarre creature that had its head stuck in a human body. It's possible that I'm one of those that inhabits human bodies but transforms into something else when the sun goes down and the sky gets dark.
"Tell me, Lana, do you ever get the feeling that you're superhuman...
I pushed him off of me and stood up from where I was sitting.
Perhaps he had forgotten he had pinned me to the floor and that it wasn't a particularly comfortable position for me to be in.
