I kept my gaze fixed on her, aware that the state of my emotions was rapidly shifting despite my best efforts to maintain stability.

I was at a loss for words to explain why, but the fact that she had implied that I was a cannibal caused me a great deal of emotional distress.

It was no secret to me that for some inexplicable reason, my wolf took an intense liking to her, and to add the cherry on top of the cake, the rational part of me also started feeling some kind of strange curiosity towards her.

In all honesty, I was clueless about what was going on with me as of late.

She made low panting sounds, her chest heaving up and down as she struggled to regain her breath. 

The manner in which she had run all of her sentences together without pausing in between each one and admitting that she and Stacey shared the same manhood, mine manhood, was one of the primary factors that significantly piqued my interest.
