章 29: Self Doubt

I found that I was beginning to have doubts about my own sanity. Had each and every one of them been correct about me the whole time? Was the sole purpose of my creation to wreak havoc? Why else would I be hated if there was no other reason, and why did I always find myself in the middle of the mayhem whenever it occurred? 

It made no difference whether we were talking about my horrible time in the village or wherever I happened to be at the time. My presence has almost invariably been the focal point of attention. Obviously in an unfavorable sense.

"How were you able to accomplish that?" 

The sound of his voice snapped me out of my pensive state and brought me back to the here and now, as well as my surroundings. 

I was still in Cedric's office, awkwardly standing by the wall.
