章 36: Chapter 36: Sons Betrayal 2/2
Outside their home, both Hagoromo and Hamura were seen fighting while Kaguya controlled Hamura to fight his brother. She wanted him to stop his foolish act of protecting humans. However, abruptly lightning crackled as Hagoromo impaled Hamura through his chest with his fist.
The impact was deafening as the sound of his hand passing through Hamura split the air. Kaguya watched in shock as her son fell to the ground, impaled.
This scene shocked Hagoromo and Kaguya but she never expected this outcome. Swiftly, Hagoromo with his new rinnegan, pulled out a seal the toads gave him. He then placed the seal fulled with natural energy on Hamura, which healed him. Hagoromo seeing his brother fully healed spoke, "Mother was controlling you, Hamura. We need to stop her now."
Kaguya saw that her son was healed and relieved. She decided to end it she was going to restart this world once again. She broke through the roof of their home and stared emotionally at her sons. "Hagoromo, Hamura," she said, flatly, as this was the last time they would remember.
Kaguya floated in the air and activated her rinnesharingan. A she activated her rinnesharingan she knew exactly how to restart it. It was not a decision she had made lightly, but she knew it was for the greater good. With a deep breath, Kaguya closed her eyes and began the process of creating a new world.
Kaguya was tired of this world and this life. Being without her daughter and her son's betrayal took a toll on her mind. She decided to command the God Tree to do her bidding.
The earth began to shake as the God Tree that once stood tall began to shrink and reshape. Its roots deep in the ground, uprooting and twisting, forming a beastly creature. Kaguya watched as the beast rose from the ground, ready to carry out her command.
Hagoromo and Hamura were in shock to see a gigantic beast form with ten tails and a single rinnesharingan. Its eyes looked around, scanning the area, and its mouth was crooked, smiling. The gigantic beast that formed, was known as the ten-tails.
As the it emerged from the ground, its massive body caused a chain reaction of earthquakes and tsunamis across the land. Kingdoms crumbled, and people ran in terror as the monster movements destroyed everything in its path. The world was plunged into darkness as the monstrous creature brought about a new era.
In the midst of chaos and destruction, two brave warriors stood up to fight against the monstrous creature that had plunged the world into darkness. Hagaromo and Hamura left their mother and faced the ten-tails head on, determined to save their world from further devastation. As the battle ensued, Hagoromo summoned a powerful avatar made of chakra. His avatar was a blue perfect Susanoo rivalling the height as the ten-tails.
However, the creature was not easily defeated and launched a devastating purple orb called a tail beast bomb towards Hagoromo. Despite blocking with his Susanoo sword, the attack had severe repercussions as it scattered like meteorites and caused massive explosions across the surrounding lands.
The sound of the explosions rocked the earth, causing the ground to shake violently and sending large chunks of debris flying through the air. The noise was deafening, drowning out even the screams of those who fled from the sheer power of the attacks.
But Hagoromo and Hamura did not falter, standing strong against the onslaught and continuing their fight to protect their world from destruction. Even as more explosions rang out across the battlefield, they remained resolute in their determination to defeat their mother.
Days passed as their mother's battle raged on. Kaguya tried everything she could to persuade them to let her restart the world. Allow their lives to return to normal, but they strayed. Kaguya's faith was shaken by their resolution to protect humans over their family. She was shocked and blamed herself for their misguidance. "Why did my life turn out like this," she said.
Her sons, seeing her falter, seized the opportunity and sealed her fate. They both placed their palms against their mother and said "Catostropic Planetary Devastation." The ground shook as ten-tails shrieked their way back into the tree.
As the landscape began to crumble around Kaguya, a gravitational pull developed. Countless rocks flew into Kaguya, the epicentre. Each rock flew faster and faster, encircling her and trapping her.
As she cried over her son's actions, the light in her vision began to fade. Her family betrayed her once more. She began to laugh at herself for her actions in attempting to protect her family and escape her clan. She wondered if her life would be better if she submitted as a sacrifice. Dark thoughts surrounded her until a light appeared in her memories—her daughter, Yukari.
She smiled, knowing that after everything she had been through, she had a daughter who loved her and showed her how she felt. She didn't care whether or not she was released and was thankful for her daughter, who had brightened her last twenty-two years.
The gravitational attraction stopped, and a giant sphere was formed from the landscape, which would be known as the moon across the land. Kaguya accepted her fate. "Mommy loves you, sweetie," she said in a tone full of love as she began to become enveloped in darkness.
As she felt herself being taken away, she closed her eyes and thought of her daughter's smile, the sound of her laughter, and the warmth of her embrace. She hoped that her daughter would remember her and that she would gain strength to fight against her clan.
Kaguya's heart was filled with love and gratitude as she embraced her fate, knowing that her daughter would definitely stir up chaos around the universe.
