章 180: Going Home

Song Ting hadn't formed much of an opinion about Gu Chen previously. The aristocratic families in the capital and the wealthy families in A City only had business dealings at most; their interactions were limited. 

He had heard of Gu Chen's reputation as the head of the Gu Family but didn't pay it much heed. After all, he had only met him a few times.

However, not long ago, he and Song Fan were embroiled in some rumors. Song Fan had clarified that the rumors weren't true, but Gu Chen had never stepped up to address the situation. Regardless of how absurd the rumors were, people still inquired about potential celebrations at their homes. 

He was genuinely concerned that these rumors might negatively impact Song Fan. While such things might be a mere romantic affair for men, for women, they could become lifetime scandals.
