/"Excuse me, can I help you?/" I ask him

The man glances at me, giving me a disgusted facial expression.

Damn.

All I did was ask him a question.

/"Yes, you can give my... uh- daughter and I some privacy/" he says

I give him an appalled facial expression before turning to face Farrah.

/"Um, Farrah?/" I ask, hoping that she does something before I do

The ash blonde haired girl glances between her father and I with a conflicted facial expression.

She eventually bites her bottom lip before she releases a heavy sigh.

/"I'll be back Haley,/" she tells me as she stands up from her seat

My heart painfully pounds when she doesn't immediately choose me but I brush it off.

It may be an emergency.

I mean, why else wouldn't she choose me after practically forcing me out of my bed.

/"Just- please don't leave me!/" She pleads as the man drags her away
