章 131: A Liaison

A week after the shootout, the police commissioner asked for a meeting with Marcella. Tony asked her to go alone as he had other work to do. He didn't tell her much, but she could understand that there was trouble in the congressman's office. 

Marcella went to meet the commissioner. He had asked her to meet him in a school track ground where he coached in his free time. Marcella had heard a lot of good things about the commissioner. She didn't mind going to meet him in a gang-controlled area. 

He was not corrupted like the others and he had to turn a blind eye to everything that was happening in his department; he had to protect his family. 

This was the first time she met with Commissioner Brian Logan.
