章 84: A Day Out

Tony woke up not feeling her fingers on his head. This was the first time she was feeling this peaceful. The wife's lap is the most peaceful place on planet Earth; he can say with utmost certainty.

Seeing her sleeping peacefully, a smile bloomed on his face. He sat up and watched her sleeping face for some time. Her eyebrows were furrowed and he gently rubbed them. She mumbled something in displeasure.

Are you having bad dreams, Birdie?

He picked her up and walked to the bedroom. He had loads of work left. But he decided to stay with her for some time. Hugging her, he lay beside her. Watching her peaceful sleeping face, he almost fell asleep. But he got up to finish up his work. He wanted to spend the entire Sunday with her and the baby.
