After calling the code black over the phone, the floor was soon filled with staff members. From guards to cleaning staff, they immediately fulfilled their duties with professionalism and they didn't seem fazed by the grotesque crime scene in the examination room. Uriel, didn't linger to even attempt to tell whether they were humans, cryptids or skinwalkers, all he needed to know was that they were all in on it. Instead of pointlessly trying to further his investigation, he picked the girl and went down the stairs trying not to shake her too much since she was badly injured.
At some point she stopped crying which led Uriel to believe she was unconscious, but that wasn't the case. Even after all she went through, now that Uriel took care of the doctor she felt safe enough to stop worrying about her life and focusing on something even more important to her.
"He didn't..." She muttered softly while hanging loose on Uriel's arms.
