Several hours later, the first rays of dawn began to cast their light over the makeshift human camp.
A winding river, flowing through the Hager Forest, was meandering along the edge of the camp. Many female soldiers were already fetching water from the riverbank, and wisps of smoke rose from the campfires within the camp.
Upon closer inspection of the human camp, it was constructed using local materials, with earthen walls surrounding it. The outer side of the wooden walls was covered with wooden spikes and angles, along with defensive structures like magical traps and arrow towers.
