Christine's POV
It was as though the pain Valerie is feeling right now was being split into halves. Because, I'm damn serious when I say that her words to her mom we're like pins in my heart that stink me painfully_ I'm feeling the pain of having a loved one in a vegetative state.
To be frank, the pain of having one's only support, adviser, pillar, parent, sibling, all in a lifeless state can be devastating and heart ravaging.
When I saw her mom's hand move, I immediately pressed the red button beside the bed, which is for emergency.
"Christine!" The shocked and befuddled Valerie called out as a stream of tears ran down her cheeks.
"Don't worry, the doctor will…" I was still trying to tell her the doctors will be here soon when the door opened and two male doctors walked with nurses tailing behind them.
