"I am sorry," Elliana whispered, ashamed of her actions as she woke up and looked at Nathaniel sitting in the corner of her room, dressed in his usual royal attire.
"What are you sorry for, Elliana? You did nothing wrong. Anyone in your place would've been scared and clung to the first person she had seen who saved her from that horrifying event," Nathaniel felt hurt that she would apologize like that just because she hugged him when he wasn't wearing a shirt.
But it was for good. At least one of them knew their limits and knew what was right and wrong.
He sighed and took a deep breath. Right now wasn't the time to think about all those things. There were more pressing matters at hand.
