Elliana leaned on the wall, taking deep breaths to calm her raging emotions. 

Even she hadn't expected the kinds of answers she gave to Madeline today. This wasn't the first time she threatened her, but this was definitely the first time she used such kind of bandit language.

She needed to calm down. Her heart was in a mess. 

Though she acted and pretended to be strong, she couldn't help but think of the time when Mr Marino would indeed leave her after getting the throne.

Her heart ached at the thought, and she sighed, remembering how outrageously she claimed a man a hundred times more powerful than her as hers. There is no way a man like him would ever belong to her, regardless of the number of times he says she belongs to the devil. She smiled softly and took out her phone.

She looked at the MMMH number before typing a message with shivering hands.
