"What did you do? How dare you touch him?" Elliana's voice was barely above a whisper, like a serpent's hiss. 

"Elliana, what are you doing?" Alcinder was the first one to react, while Sebastian just stood there and leaned on the wall observantly.

He wanted to call out this girl who was a witch and was pretending to be a vampire maid, but he wanted to observe things first.
