章 3: World God
"I do hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I am sorry to say that you are
dead."
Said the old man as bowed to the handsome young man sitting in front of him.
The young man had some messy dark brown hair and gorgeous blue eyes. He had near perfect face which could qualify him for being one of the most handsome humans to ever live.
He is none other than Alexander Crown. Alex was an orphan who grew up in an orphanage supported by the government.
A few days ago while going back to his rented apartment from his school he discovered a meteoriter falling from the sky.
Following the meteorite's trail he went towards the area of impact and discovered a space pod inside of which a metallic container was placed containing a small ampule filled with a green liquid and a black box.
The black box was an advanced device from a level 7 civilization which attached itself to Alex as a dragon like tatoo on his arm.
The features of the device were, access to the internet of thousands of universes as long as they have any internet or like network developed, holographic projection, ar projection and direct information transfer.
In short it was a device similar to that of a smartphone but many times advanced and also had an AI which recognised Alex as his master and introduced all of its functions to him.
The green liquid was a kind of gene serum capable of increasing anyone's physical status while granting him some special skills.
Following the AI which he named Alfred's instructions he drank the serum which resulted in him gaining peak human physical status, ability to learn anything faster and adaptabilty.
Adaptation ability of his grants him the power of adapting to things like temperature, viruses easily and gaining immunity against them. But would be useless if expose to something way out of the league.
Using adaptability he could also increase his physical and other stats slowly by training removing the racial limitations.
He was very excited by this fact and tried to experiment many things with it. Today he went to the nearby mountain to test his limits but died when the lightning hit him.
Opening his eyes he saw the old man bowing in front of him and explaining that he had killed him by mistake.
He was about to get angry at the old man but a sudden headache hit him where he began remembering his previous life as Alexander Crown, the richest man of his world.
Looking at the old man and the strange lace he is in he couldn't help but he dumbfounded as he had seen a similar situation before.
The endless sea of clouds, the kind looking japanese old man who refers to himself as the world god, tatami mats, old television.
Isn't this how a certain anime he watched in his previous life started?
'In another world with my smartphone'
He remembers that anime as it was quite a decent anime in the isekai genre in his previous life.
Did he die and reincarnated into the world of anime?
Countless thoughts ran through his heads but the sound of the old man brought him back to reality.
"I am afraid to say that I have made a bit of a blunder when I dropped
some lightning into the world below. Truly, I am sorry about my mistake. I
never intended for it to strike anyone... the chances of it happening are so low
to begin with! Really, I cannot apologize enough."
The old man said while still bowing his head.
"So I died huh? So this is the heaven I presume?"
Alex said as he looked at the old man. There were a lot of things that Alex wanted to ask the old man...but what should he ask?
Is this the anime we are living in? How do I remembered the previous life memories of mine.

Alex was tempted to ask about his previous life memories but decided not to as who knows it is some kind of taboo or something for these gods and they would punish him or something for this.
So it is better for not to mention anything about his previous life.
"Ah, no. This is actually far above Heaven. It is where all the Gods live.
You could call it the Divine Realm, I suppose. I actually had to summon you
here myself. Humans ordinarily cannot ever hope to come here, you see."
"Now, young Alexander, in the normal case whenever anyone dies they either go to hell or heaven based on their deeds and enters the cycle of reincarnation after getting their souls cleanse"
"But because I killed you by mistake it was all my fault, and I will gladly take
responsibility for that. You'll be resurrected in a moment, don't you worry
about that. But..." God stumbled over his words for a moment.
'Isnt this the exact conversation the god did with Touya?'
"I can certainly restore you to life, but I cannot simply place you back
where you came from. There are rules about this kind of thing, you
understand? Once again, allow me to profusely apologize for this situation...

"It is possible to grant you a life in a different world. A chance to begin
anew, so to speak. Of course, I will understand if you don't like the idea"
"No I don't mind at all"

"I don't have any special attachment to my previous world so getting a chance to live once again is already a lot for me"
