Daniel was very happy to see her tamed like that but felt it was still not enough. She deserved worse than this. Thinking of a way to add to her misery, he responded coldly,

"He's not here."

Zayla was still dialing Robin's number and since the door was open, she could hear the phone ringing. 

"You are lying to me. I can hear his phone ringing."

She never liked Daniel and did not care that he was rude to her. Her only problem was Robin. She needed him urgently.

"I don't care if you believe me or not because I don't owe you any explanations whatsoever. Robin left in a hurry because he had to take Sabrina to the hospital."

Daniel intentionally revealed it to make her jealous and it was obvious in Zayla's brokenness that she was extremely sad.

When she fainted at the bank and was rushed to the hospital, Robin never showed his face for even a second but he was going to take his ex-wife to the hospital.
