The position of the sun in the sky now suggested that it was already noon and by this time of the day, the entrance hall of the orphanage was closed with no one hanging around the area.

The tree beside the building was flooding with birds singing away at the bright new day but it didn't take long before all of them started fleeing.

The reason was that someone had just appeared beside the tree, two people to be precise.

"Here we are." Devon sighed before placing his hand on the tree.

"Your teleportation is way superior compared to what I can do with spells," Elena remarked before taking a step toward the building. "I still can't get over how something like this is possible."

"Yeah, me too." He dragged his words there before moving toward her.

"Hey, what's wrong with you?" She snapped before quickly turning to him.

"And just what are you talking about?"
