章 53: Midnight Call and Wine Stains  

After Scarlett got home, she called Mia to check in. She thought Mia would still be upset about the party, but Mia couldn't stop talking about Lucius and Easton. She said it was the first time she had seen them in person and that this experience was enough to brag about for the rest of her life.

Scarlett teased, "Maybe you should consider a career change. I could introduce you to Easton River."

Mia quickly replied, "No, no, no! Some people are best admired from afar. A glimpse from a distance is enough for me. We're not in the same league."

Scarlett casually mentioned, "Lucius just referred a new client to me. I'll be tutoring Elijah Brooks' younger brother in physics."

Mia's jaw dropped. After a few seconds of silence, she said in all seriousness, "You've got the unholy trinity of Deep City. You should play the lottery; I'll buy a ticket tomorrow."

Scarlett responded, "If you win, don't forget to buy me insurance."
