After her passionate words were spoken, the atmosphere immediately became different. At this moment, all the camera shots focused on Miaoyi.

Zhang Wen chuckled playfully, teasing Miaoyi, "Oh, so you're saying you're not some once-in-a-lifetime music sorceress who stumbled upon our realm to bless us with your beats?"

Miaoyi laughed at the exaggeration, playing along, "Not so fast! I never said I wasn't! I arrived with my magical turntables and synthesizers, ready to hypnotize the world with my electronic spells!"

The audience chuckled at their banter, enjoying the lighthearted exchange between the host and the DJ. Zhang Wen leaned in as if sharing a secret, "Well, you must be doing something right, Miaoyi. People can't get enough of your enchanting melodies. I'm starting to suspect you've cast a spell on all of us!"

"Well, that's caused me more issues than I expected," Miaoyi shook her head silently and added with a smile, "Didn't you notice that even at the beginning when I did nothing but focused on making music, I unintentionally offended people?"

"You are far too humble, TMY," Zhang Wen said. "Your works are outstanding. Everyone can see and hear that. Even if some people refuse to admit it, the fact remains that you are the first female DJ on the Top 100 DJs list. This alone proves your talent. I believe that if you continue making electronic music like this, the entire industry could look completely different soon."

"I hope so," Miaoyi smiled, raising the cup of hot tea before her and taking a couple of sips.

"Alright, let's move on to the next question," Zhang Wen smoothly switched to the next segment and continued with the flow.

This, unlike the previous one which was taken directly from the live audience, came via the live-at-home viewers. It appeared in bold font on the teleprompter, and Zhang Wen read it aloud with vigour, "The second question is from an enthusiastic fan, a user with ID Guest200947: TMY, do you plan to explore other fields and forms beyond electronic music? Or will you solely focus on making electronic music?"

"Solely make electronic music?" Miaoyi was briefly surprised, then paused for a moment before answering, "I think you probably already know the answer to this question."

"The answer is simple: I will undoubtedly keep doing electronic music. There's no doubt about it. It's not just something I love; it's kind of like an obsession."

"An obsession?" Zhang Wen was curious about this term, "Could you tell us more?"

"I'm not sure how to put it. I would equate it to something like OCD, but I don't want to classify it as a mental illness. Honestly, I don't understand it much myself, so describing it is even more impossible." Miaoyi didn't elaborate much and just shook her head, refraining from further replies.

As she had said, Miaoyi was indeed an outsider who had intervened in this world midway, and this inexplicable aspect was beyond explanation. Sure, her passion for electronic music was large already, but seeing her favourite genre's state in this world caused her passion to transform into something deeper. But, as she said, she had no clue how to explain that, so she simply glossed over it.

"That's a little regrettable. I was quite interested in hearing more about it." Zhang Wen cleverly noticed Miaoyi's reluctance to answer and shifted the topic, "Well then, please continue."

"Sure," Miaoyi nodded and smiled, "Regarding electronic music, all the fans who enjoy my work can rest assured—I won't give it up. However, when it comes to exploring other fields, my answer is: yes!"

After saying this, Miaoyi added, "I will keep doing electronic music, but who knows, I might also venture into other domains. If I want to do something, why limit myself?"

"You will explore other domains?" Zhang Wen looked puzzled, "Are you sure this won't affect your music career?"

"Of course not," Miaoyi dismissed it with a smile, "Firstly, I don't know if you are familiar with electronic music or if you have any opinions about this genre."

Zhang Wen replied, "I'm all ears."

"This involves a concept I've had for a long time," Miaoyi began, her eyes shining with excitement. "You see, Electronic music as a genre is very diverse. I wholeheartedly disagree with anyone who says that electronic music must be limited to clubs. Electronic music is not just its own genre, but can also be a way to express other genres as well. It can be used as a flavour enhancer, like salt or pepper, to produce unique compositions that were impossible to achieve otherwise. This applies not only to other music genres but outside of music in general."

Zhang Wen nodded, intrigued by Miaoyi's passion and eager to understand more. "So, what exactly do you mean? I follow your logic so far, but how does it apply to your future endeavours?"

Miaoyi smiled, appreciating Zhang Wen's curiosity. "Electronic music represents a bridge between culture. It connects music, video games, movies, television, even visual arts and novels in some cases. I envision it as the mortar that can transcend the boundaries of electronic music and blend into various aspects of culture and creativity."

Zhang Wen's eyes widened in realization. "So, you mean to connect your electronic music with different forms of art and culture, creating the foundation for a broader creative ecosystem?"

"Exactly!" Miaoyi exclaimed. "With electronic music as the core, I would create avenues for my music to radiate into other forms of culture, such as literature, visual arts, and more. I would be breaking every convention available, and creating an entirely new way to express oneself."

Zhang Wen's curiosity was piqued even further. "That's fascinating! But how do you plan to start implementing this concept practically?"

Miaoyi leaned forward, eager to share her vision. "Well, besides releasing my upcoming single, I also have plans to venture into novels. My uncle actually owns a small publishing company, so I could easily find an author to partner with. This is where the idea comes into play. Through my novels, I'll explore stories and themes that complement and enhance the experience of my electronic music. The novels will be like companions to the music, creating a rich and immersive world for the audience."

Zhang Wen nodded approvingly. "So, the novels will add depth and context to your music, making it an even more meaningful and engaging experience for your fans."

"Yes, exactly!" Miaoyi's eyes sparkled with enthusiasm. "I believe this approach will foster a deeper connection between my music and the audience. It's about creating a cohesive artistic universe where different forms of expression harmoniously coexist."

"As for visual arts," Miaoyi continued, "I can envision my music becoming the foundation for mesmerizing art installations. Imagine walking into a gallery where each painting has its own musical accompaniment. The music would bring the artwork to life, drawing the viewers into a whirlwind of colours and sound, stimulating their senses in a unique and unforgettable way."

Zhang Wen was impressed by Miaoyi's innovative thinking and artistic vision. "It sounds like a fantastic journey you're embarking on. I'm sure your fans will be thrilled to be a part of this creative adventure."

Miaoyi smiled warmly. "I hope so too. It's all about pushing the boundaries and exploring new horizons in the world of art and music. I'm excited to see where this new style of culture integration will lead us."

With that, the conversation continued, delving into the specifics of Miaoyi's upcoming projects and her plans to collaborate with artists from different fields. As the interview progressed, it became evident that Miaoyi's determination and passion would undoubtedly lead her to create a groundbreaking fusion of electronic music and various art forms, forever changing the landscape of creativity.

Corrected an issue that was brought up in the previous chapter. I contradicted myself, saying that there was no live audience, then the host picked someone from the nonexistent live audience to get a question from.

It's fixed, there is now a live audience. Thanks to Barbatos_3461 for bringing this up
