章 446: Under Her Spell

Another day came by, and this time, Dani with Abel traveled to the Stewart Manor by carriage to attend Krisha's wedding. Quietly, they sat opposite to her friend, and Dani could feel what Abel was feeling based on how his eyes lingered on her despite her looking straight out the window.

Up until now, Dani still hadn't given him an answer about making things between them real. She was still mulling on it even when she already knew that the answer she wanted to give him was a simple yes. And yet she still didn't want to say that word yet. She wanted to see how long his patience for her would last.

"Stop staring," she murmured with a pout.

"I can't," Abel smirked. "You look so alluring today." 

Dani gulped the moment she turned to Abel, seeing how intensely he was practically gawking at her. It was probably because of the dress she was currently wearing that her mother picked out for her that day.
