After Shizu finished her story she sat there silently waiting for Ryuu's reply, She had told him everything about her, and although it was heart she felt her heart getting lighter as if a burden was removed.
She knew for her suicidal thoughts and the things she tried to do she would be heavily reprimanded or he might even hate her. Although that possibility scared her she knew she was wrong and her actions were a little thoughtless.
Hearing the complete story of Shizu and finally being conformed about her thoughts and the reason for it Ryuu just looked at her dead in the eye.
"Sigh, You are more of an idiot than I thought you were," Ryuu said as he sighed.
Shizu didn't reply and continued to listen to his words. After all, she wanted to know his thoughts.
"Do you really think that I, your students will be scared if such a thing happened? If you think so then you really have very really trust in us. Even the kids will be able to fight the spirit even if they might not win."
"And you should know that Yuuki, Hinata, and I will be able to suppress you even if Ifrit takes control. And even your friend tried to help you even if she was terrified at first she calmed herself it as she knew it would hurt you."
"And you still ran away, do you know how worried she may be? She may even blame herself if something happened to you."
"And even thinking about killing yourself, do you even know what people close to will think? Do you know how many people care about you? Do you even care about it?"
At first, Ryuu talked calmly but the more he talked the more anger and sadness took over him and he raised his voice. Why wouldn't he be Shizu the first person he met after getting back his emotions?
She became his first teacher and friend in this world, he cared about her a lot. She was one of his closest and truest friends.
So thinking that he may have lost this all, just thinking about gave him great pain in his heart. So with all that he couldn't control his emotions and raged out.
"I...I-I" Hearing his words and seeing him raging out for the first time she wasn't able to say anything. She knew she had done wrong so she didn't have anything to defend herself with and didn't want to.
Seeing Shizu state Ryuu took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down. After taking a couple of more breaths he looked at Shizu's eyes and asked in a calm voice.
"Shizu San do you care for us."
Hearing his calm voice and question Shizu looked at his eyes and she could see sadness and hurt in them.
"I-I Do. I care for all those close to me." Although shuttering at first she quickly gave a firm reply afterward.
"Then why." He asked again hearing her reply.
"I..." She wasn't able to give a reply so she just bit her lips and looked down toward the ground.
"Shizu San, no Shizu you know it's ok to cry when you are hurt," Ryuu said and gave her a gentle hug.
Shizu didn't give a reply and continued to look down while being in his embrace.
"Although I shouldn't speak much about it, but when you get close to people and both of you care for each other taking such a decision will leave a deep scar in the hearts of people you care about that will follow them for the rest of their life." He continued his words as he looked at the sky.
Taking a deep breath he looked at Shizu who was looking at him with tears on the verge of falling out.
"So please don't do this again." He said and gave a gentle smile.
Hearing his words and looking at his smile she couldn't control herself anymore and tears started to fall from her eyes.
She gave Ryuu a tight hug and started to cry her heart out.
"So-orry.. I-I... Sorry." She continued to cry while saying sorry.
Ryuu didn't give a reply and continued to hug her while gently patting her head trying to soothe her.
She cried for hours and expressed all of her frustration and all the things that she had kept locked up in her heart. Ryuu silently stood there without giving a reply being a pillar for her to let everything out on her.
"Everything is alright, you don't have to take all of it alone there are many people in this world who will be more than happy to help you. So please rely on us." Ryuu said as Shizu finished her words.
Shizu didn't give a reply but continued to hug Ryuu, she had stopped crying and was currently too embarrassed to look at his face so she buried her face in his shoulder.
"Understood," Ryuu asked.
"Yes," Shizu replied in a muffled voice.
"Good."
Ryuu said and there was a calm and soothing silence in the surroundings. Both of them didn't talk but there was no awkwardness between them.
Shizu was lost in her thoughts, a difficult question was floating in her mind, and she was thinking whether to follow through with it or not.
After a while, she made up her mind and turned her head up, and looked at Ryuu's face. Seeing his face so close her face became red but she didn't back down.
"Yes, Shizu" Ryuu inquired.
"Ryuu, I...."
But just as she was about to give a reply she felt Ifrit trying to get out. Her face turned to horror and she looked at Ryuu.
Flame had already started to surround her and her face was turning red.
"Ru....." She tried to say something but Ryuu put a finger in her lips and blocked her.
"Shhhh, Don't worry Shizu everything is alright. I will take care of it so please rest." Ryuu said while giving a gentle smile to her.
Then a little bit of purplish golden energy passed from his finger and she lost consciousness her body falling toward Ryuu who held it.
As she fell unconscious the smile on Ryuu's face disappeared and his face became serious.
'Is everything Prepared, True Sage' He asked his trusty skill.
[Yes master everything is prepared, but are you sure you want to do this] True Sage said, Ryuu could sense worry from True Sage but it was the only way.
"I understand True Sage but it is the only way for the current me to help her with this problem," Ryuu said aloud as he looked at the transforming Shizu.
(A/N: Sigh, hope this wasn't too cringy. I tried my best so sorry if it was cringe. And for those wondering the last few chapters were not the story told by Shizu but a look into her past. After all, she doesn't have a way of knowing everything. Anyway, hope you enjoyed this chapter and see you in the next one. Goodbye for now.)
