As they continued on their journey, Jack couldn't help but feel a sense of camaraderie with Titi. Their shared experiences and mutual love of adventure had brought them closer together, and he was grateful to have her by his side.
As Jack and Titi walked, they suddenly noticed a caravan approaching them. It came to a stop not far from them, and to their surprise, Prince Cobra emerged with a smile on his face.
"Well, isn't this a coincidence?" he said, a hint of sadness in his voice. "We had planned to stay in the city for a while longer, but after the events that transpired, we decided to return early."
Despite the recent rejection, Prince Cobra appeared kind-hearted and sincere. "If you two are heading in the same direction, we'd be happy to offer you a ride," he suggested.
Jack and Titi exchanged glances before politely declining the offer. "Thank you, Your Highness, but we'll continue on foot," Titi said with a smile.
As they said their goodbyes, an arrow suddenly whistled through the air, aimed directly at Prince Cobra's head. With lightning-fast reflexes, Jack caught the arrow just before it reached its target. In the next instant, a group of men materialized from the shadows, surrounding them.
Tension filled the air as Jack's eyes turned a raging deep blue, like an ocean in the midst of a storm. He stood protectively in front of Titi, prepared for whatever would come next.
"Seems like someone wants you dead, Prince," Jack said, assessing the situation as Pell and Chaka emerged from the carriage with Lord Marcellus. They were worried yet angry, looking at Jack and Titi cautiously. Lord Marcellus outright blamed them, but Prince Cobra stopped him, reminding him that Jack had just saved his life.
Ignoring them, Jack turned to face the enemy, ready for battle. He had just stolen the man's future wife; the least he could do was save him.
Jack's eyes turned into a raging deep blue, like an ocean in the midst of a storm. He prepared himself, focusing his strength and energy for the fight that was about to unfold. Jack chose his Thunderous Blow technique, channeling all of his strength into a single, powerful punch that could break through solid objects.
The enemies surrounding them seemed unfazed, but Jack knew he had to act quickly. He unleashed a Thunderous Uppercut, sending one of the attackers flying into the air. As another enemy lunged at him, Jack countered with a Thunderous Hammerfist, creating a shockwave that knocked nearby objects off balance.
Despite his best efforts, the enemies continued to close in. Jack knew he had to escalate his techniques. He switched to his second level, Hurricane Strike, and unleashed a flurry of lightning-fast punches that created a powerful gust of wind, knocking his opponents off balance.
As the enemies staggered, Jack delivered a series of Hurricane Uppercuts so fast that they created a whirlwind, lifting his opponents off their feet. With a smirk on his face, Jack charged forward, unleashing a series of Hurricane Strikes as he moved, creating a powerful gust of wind that further disoriented his foes.
The battle raged on, and Jack could feel his energy reserves draining. He knew it was time to end this. With a final burst of determination, he switched to his third level, Iron Fist. His punches became so strong that they could shatter steel, making him a fearsome opponent against these heavily armored foes.
With an Iron Crush, Jack focused all of his strength into a single, devastating punch that shattered the steel armor of one opponent, leaving him reeling. As another enemy charged, Jack utilized Iron Wall, creating a barrier of energy that deflected the attack and protected him from harm.
The remaining enemies were visibly shaken but refused to back down. Jack leaped high into the air, using Iron Leap to come crashing down on his opponents, creating a shockwave that knocked them off balance and left them vulnerable. He finished them off with an Iron Tempest, a rapid-fire series of Iron Fists that sent his foes flying in all directions.
As the last of the enemies crumbled to the ground, Jack took a moment to catch his breath. He turned to face Prince Cobra, who stared at him with a mix of admiration and gratitude.
"Thank you," Prince Cobra said, his voice filled with sincerity. "I owe you my life."
Jack nodded curtly, his eyes returning to their calm blue state. "Just doing what needed to be done."
Lord Marcellus, his face red with anger and humiliation, tried to find words to express his rage. But, seeing the defeated enemies around them, he held his tongue.
Prince Cobra turned to his guards, Pell and Chaka. "Take care of these men. They need to be interrogated."
As the guards moved to carry out the prince's orders, Titi approached Jack, concern etched on her face. "Are you alright?" she asked.
Jack smiled, reassuring her. "I'm fine, Titi. Just a bit worn out."
Cobra insisted that he owed Jack his life and wanted to host a banquet in his honor. However, after a bit of back and forth, Jack informed the prince that he and Titi wished to travel the country, but promised to visit the palace in the future. Thanking him repeatedly, the Prince and his caravan finally departed.
As they left, Titi turned to look at Jack with a smirk. After a moment, Jack rolled his eyes and asked, "What?"
"I told you life has a funny way of surprising us when we least expect it," she giggled, remembering their earlier conversation about the Poneglyph.
As they continued on their journey towards Rainbase, Titi chatted lightly, her excitement for the future apparent. "I've heard of so many amazing islands, Jack. Some are just whispers and rumors, but I want to see them all."
Jack glanced at her, his eyes calm, but a hint of a smile tugged at the corner of his mouth. "Oh? And which ones have captured your imagination?"
Titi's eyes sparkled as she listed the islands. "Well, there's one that's rumored to be in the sky, floating among the clouds. And another that's said to be hidden beneath the sea! Can you imagine what it would be like to live under the ocean?"
Jack raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Interesting. And what else?"
Titi's enthusiasm grew as she continued. "There's an island on top of a mountain, so high it seems to touch the heavens. And then there's one in the shape of a ring, surrounded by water. I can't help but wonder what it would be like to walk around that island, looking out at the endless ocean."
Jack couldn't help but smile at Titi's excitement. "You have quite the adventurous spirit, Titi. It's no wonder you've chosen this path."
Titi blushed slightly, her eyes shining with happiness. "Thank you, Jack. And what about you? Any places you're particularly interested in visiting?"
Jack considered the question for a moment, his calm blue eyes thoughtful. "I've heard tales of an island shrouded in mist, where ancient ruins lie hidden. It's said that the secrets of a long-lost civilization can be found there. I wouldn't mind exploring such a place."
Titi grinned, nodding in agreement. "That sounds incredible. I hope we get the chance to visit there someday."
