Evelyn Harper was in the worst mood. Thanks to this idiotic leaderboard that had popped out of nowhere, her guild had been thoroughly humiliated. Her guild reputation, her reputation, everything fell.

As if this wasn't enough her father had sent a message that they needed to meet. Whenever her father wanted to meet her, she knew it wouldn't be good news that awaited her.

What could it be this time? Was he going to once again force her to do that? She absolutely did not want to do that at any cost. 

She glanced at Valen who was standing nearby and chatting loudly with the rest of the main team. He seemed happy despite what was happening and that further infuriated her.

She did not know what it was but the guy irritated her no matter what he did. Something about him felt fake or rather everything about him felt fake. He was a pompous, arrogant ass who thinks he is above everyone else.
