章 26: Chapter 26

Eleanor woke up to light streaming into the room and an empty bed. The night before had been exhilarating, though her body ached as she sat up. She reached for the pull rope by the bed, which was quickly answered by Misha who entered with a tray.

"Good morning, Your Grace. I've brought your breakfast."

Eleanor nodded, and Misha quickly set out her breakfast before helping her out of the bed. As Eleanor ate, she watched Misha move about the room getting things ready for the day. After she finished eating, Misha helped her to the washroom where they repeated the same routine from the day before. Once again, Misha closely inspected any new marks she found on Eleanor.

When Misha had finished getting Eleanor ready, she said, "Now that you're ready, His Lordship would like to see you in his office."

Eleanor nodded, and Misha guided her through the halls to Michael's office. Once outside, Misha knocked, and a voice from within called out, "Enter."
