There were so many wizards gathered on the first floor, I have never seen this many witches and wizards together.

Kysoria is the only kingdom in the empire that employs, wizards and witches to work for the royal family.

For one their population is very small, and they are not so easily found.

They like to keep to themselves and very rarely mingle with people outside of their coven.

The difference between a normal person's magic and a witch's magic is that the witches can draw magic from the very nature around them, it enables them to use all kinds of spells, while humans like me have a limited magic capacity.

That is why the people with stronger magic often marries other strong magic users, to ensure that their offsprings are powerful.

There was a man, a wizard standing in the back, "everybody listens closely, all of you here are apprentices. Today is a very big day. So make sure to stay alert no matter what. Our duty here is to protect the royal family with our life and with such a grand event taking place, someone might try to harm the royal family."

"Some of us will dress casually mixing in with the crowd, and keep an eye on the guests. Your one mistake will be the end of your apprenticeship in the palace." he paused, letting us take in what he was saying.

The guy beside me had a determined expression on his face, his eyes wide, and his head nodding to every word the guy in the front is saying.

"You will be guided by your seniors so you will not have to worry. Much." His words were not assuring at all.

i practically hear them panicking.

he left as three witches took his place, the one in the center ordered everyone to form lines and face her.

so we did, I was not sure what she was doing. but I don't want to grab any attention so I went along with everyone. and hid behind a tall-looking guy.

When we were done forming lines, she walked past each person, scanning everyone's faces, then picked some people, I don't know, on which base she was selecting them, but from the look on their faces I would say it is going to be something fun.

as the selected people's faces lit up, with a smile.

then she turned towards the line I was in and selected roughly 5 members and was about to leave when she stopped, she walked to the guy in front of me and pushed him aside, making my eyes widen in surprise.

"Oh, you are perfect," she said, the witch was stunning with blonde hair and a small face.

"Follow me," she ordered, walking towards the door. i followed with the others not knowing what is waiting on the other end of the room.
