I knew it was not a coincidence when so many obstacles started appearing in my path.

As I was leaving the flooded street, I could see the silhouette of a cat following me. I knew it then, that it was his or her work.

The concerning thing is who sent it?

Why is it trying to stop me from going to meet Rocco.

Did someone figure out my identity and there is a trap waiting for me as I try to leave.

The possibilities of a disaster occurring are endless.

But with my abilities I am more than capable of dealing with all of problems.

A simple trap with some food in it was all I needed to catch the cat.

Gathering a small amount of my magic in the palm of my hands I caught the cat by the neck.

It meowed loudly, wriggling in my hand trying to reach his food, waiting just a foot away from him.

I can feel the magic activating inside it. As it tried to escape my grasp, thanks to my own magic, it was secure in my hands,

When its escape attempts were unsuccessful, it turned towards me.

The cat paused, its golden eyes locked with mine, they widened as it saw who was holding it in the air.

My voice carried a hint of authority as I spoke to the cat, a mixture of curiosity and threat lacing my words.

"Who sent you, little wanderer?" I asked, my voice tinged with a mixture of suspicion and determination.

"Who are you calling little?" it growled trying to swipe its paw at my face.

I was so startled I almost dropped it to the floor as I heard its voice in my head.

"so, you are the one who was following me and making my day miserable." My grip tightened around the creature, my fingers feeling the softness of its fur.

The black cat, seemingly unfazed by her grip, stared back at her with an air of nonchalance. Its tail flicked back and forth in a silent response. I leaned closer, my eyes narrowing further as I sought to decipher the secrets this feline harbored.

"It will be better for you if you speak now, or I have my ways," I warned, my voice carrying a note of authority laced with a touch of darkness. The cat's gaze held steady, its silence making me smile.

I raised my other hand so that it could see the sharp blade that I was holding.

"You would not dare!" It shrieked in my head, as it wriggled in my hand.

I definitely would not. But it doesn't need to know about it.

Just to show it that I would not hesitate, I brought the knife closer to it.

The black cat glowed in magic as it tried desperately to use its magic and escape.

"You will not be able to get away, you should have known how powerful I am." I said, bring the knife even closer to it.

"Okay! Fine, I will tell you." it shouted,
