章 171: Caught Red Handed

Cassey changed her clothes and wore the uniform of a maid. She covered her face with a cloak and pulled her cloak up, making sure that her face could not be recognized. 

Her eyes looked around closely when she came out of the carriage. June followed her closely as they reached Subton Street.

"Where is that house, my lady?" June whispered in a soft voice but Cassey hissed as she glared at her maid warning her to not speak more than required.

June bowed her head and made sure not to make another voice. But her eyes were looking at everything as if she was in an alien world.

They took a left turn and entered a small bar. Cassey took the first seat near the counters.

She asked June to sit there and order a drink while she walked toward the counter. 

A bartender was serving the drinks. He had a scrawny body with a lecherous smirk on his face. When he noticed the fair hands of Cassey and her slim figure, he whistled crudely.
